Follow the journey: Juneau icefield crossing

Vincent Colliard & Borge Ousland are now in Alaska to ski across Juneau. The Juneau Icefield is located in the Coast Mountains, straddling the border between Alaska and British Columbia. It covers approximately 3,900 km², making it one of the largest icefields in the Western Hemisphere outside of the polar regions. The icefield feeds over 40 large glaciers, including the Mendenhall, Taku, and Herbert Glaciers. The purpose of this ongoing project is to question our impact on glaciers recession.
